More general questions about magick may be answered by authors who take an interest in the question, or they may not. I want the FAQs to be about the books you are using.

We won’t answer questions about other authors, regarding the quality or validity of their work, but you may ask questions such as, “Can this book be used at the same time as the book by…?”

  1. Thank you to all of the authors and also Chris and the Power of Magick team, here some questions (please feel free to erase some questions in case of repetition from other people):

    + To Ben Woodcroft: Does the Illumination would play a role in some “chants or words of power” with any entity or spirit directly named or looked for?
    – How does the 3 core rituals from Angelic Protection would act after working with the book of Lucifer and the Hidden Demons (meaning, the banishing would not be some kind against the working with the second book?)
    – Would be possible to ask/work with some other powers for the Angelic Sigils, Keys and Calls with the rituals as the book, but the powers from other sources, specifically, from the works of the Gallery of Magick (Angels of Alchemy, Archangels of Magick?)
    + To Henry Archer: Does the core rituals (the first 4 from his book) could be combined with the works from the Gallery of Magick (Magickal Riches, Wealth Magick) or would this be like mudding the waters?
    – How often would be the recommendation to repeat the core rituals to empower them, but without falling in the out of focus or distrust side of things?, meaning, just to empower the Magick
    + To Theodore Rose: Could be possible to work with the Pathworking from his book for the demon(s) but using some other powers (specifically those mentioned in the Demons of Magick book, from the Gallery of Magick)?
    – If someone is making some other rituals (angelic, other different spiritual entities than those from the Lucifer and the Hidden Demons) -before or after working with the book L&THD- for a same or specific outcome, would be necessary to tell the demons from the Lucifer and the Hidden Demons, about these other rituals or workings or just when working with different demons from the same book?
    – Can the book be used at the same time as the books by Gallery of Magick (Demons of Magick, Angels of Wrath), and Corwin Hargrove’s (Practical Djinn Magick, Demons of Wrath)?
    – Can the book be used at the same time as the book by Become a Living God (Rites of Lucifer)?
    – Do you think it is necessary to wait sometime to work with the entities, from the book, because someone’ve done some Angelic ritual, meaning, after doing the Angelic ritual would be necessary to wait some time so the working with the book L&tHD could be not “effected by the previous ritual”?
    – Does the working with Paymon could be done frequently as needed/sensed by the user or just 1 working would be sufficient for some time lapse (how long approx.?)?
    – In your experience, with the demons from this book, how long would it be necessary to wait before repeating a ritual in case of not having the expected result without falling in the “mudding the waters” and not being disrespectful with the entities? (I know there is not an exact time, but would be useful to know an average time)
    – Can the book be used at the same time as other Goetic Grimories, as the Grimorium Verum, Demonolatry Goetic Magick or so?, and deepening this a little bit so far, would you recommend some combinational work to use with your book? (the book is very inclusive, but in the sense to expand and deepen the works and even to get some other results)

  2. I have a few questions for Theodore Rose.
    Thank you for releasing this material. I can’t put the book down!

    Questions:
    1. When working with Liriol to “Bind,so that they are not able to work against…” can I use this power to bind a person from taking an action, not necessarily an enemy? Let’s say, “bind so and so from taking that trip”.

    2. When working with Ariton- “to strike fear into anyone who challenges you” is this a general working or must I name the person?

    3. When working with Hagrion “break a known curse” can I use this on myself to remove spells of influence and charm/love spells? And on others to remove specific spells if I word my request that way. I don’t want to undo all the good work I’ve done. For example , “break any spells of influence or love that so and so has placed on so and so”?

    4. Finally, when working with Sigis, I see that this is a general working. But can I use the protection ritual to protect my marriage/relationship from outside influence in addition to curses. Must I state what I want in detail or would Sigis know.

  3. This is a question for Theodore Rose.
    First of all, congratulations for your book, its a masterpierce.
    Please, when you say on page 70 of your book: ” dont banish, as the demon should not be pushed out of your life”, do you mean dont ever banish or just wait few hours or days after the summoning?.
    I usually like to banish for protection using Ben Woodcroft’s Circle Banishing and The Body of Protection, but as I want to use your book I dont know what to do now. Thanks.

    2. I can answer this now. This means don’t banish before you ‘close the ritual completely’ and implies that you should give it some time before banishing? How much time is up to you, but avoid that feeling of pushing the demon away. An hour is enough unless you still feel a strong presence that feels important to maintain. Banishing can be a part of your life when you work with demons, but putting some space between the two activities (summoning and banishing) is good manners and good practice. This will be added to the FAQ.

  4. Question for Theodore: I am very excited about your book. Thank you for writing it. And an extra thank you for opening up for questions – its truly fantastic. and much appreciated. sincerely. when it comes to the working with Daglus to cause one you desire to to feel passion for you – can you use one working to target multiple people or is it better to do a separate working for each individual? and so too with Maggid to encourage others to bestow gifts upon you – one working per individual or one working can target multiple people?

    And secondly at which point in time can one assume that a working hasn’t worked? is there an average time frame in which the demons respond? And is there a reason as to why a working wouldn’t work even when i believe i have followed the instructions clearly?

    And lastly i have performed a few workings to the best of my ability but didn’t sense the demon at all – must i automatically assume that the working was a failure?

    1. I will pass the questions on to the author but for the final question I will point out that the book says “The extent to which you are able to see or sense the demon has little bearing on the work you do with that demon.” You can get results without feeling anything at all. There are many similar statements within the book, including “do not feel a need for an experience of the demon.” In magick there is never a reason to assume a working is automatically a failure and it is more productive to assume it is a success.
